After scheduling your appointment, Portage Pest Control conducts a thorough inspection of your home to determine the locations and extent of your infestation. This includes bedding, mattress and box spring, bed frame, and furniture including couches and chairs in the living room and other areas so we know the areas to concentrate our efforts. Our pest control exterminators also discuss with you the things you need to do to limit the spread of bed bugs.

At Portage Pest Control, we do NOT use dangerous pesticides. We use a four-step process to eliminate ALL bed bugs from your home. We then make a thorough application of a patented biological control agent to completely eliminate all remaining bed bugs quickly and thoroughly. Finally, we place bed bug traps under the mattress and under and around the bed. In 2 weeks we return to inspect and perform any follow-up treatment, which is usually rarely needed. We then follow-up in three months with a second treatment. The treatment continues working for up to 3 months.
